Whether you simply need advice on how to further develop your practice or you need help to re-develop your whole outside area, we can support you through the process. We do not offer a 'grand designs' service, we provide an affordable, realistic and sustainable project that will change the way you plan and deliver your curriculum.

Free-initial half day consultation +£100 optional initial report
£400 per day thereafter.
£50 per EYFS team- staff annual pass-includes 3 training sessions at our Shrewsbury Inside Out Learning site.

REALISTIC
We aim to build on your existing outdoor provision and produce a long term plan that suits your children's needs, your budget and the staff's capabilities. We are adept at making the maximum impact with even the smallest of budgets. We can help assess your staff skill sets and bridge any gaps. We consider the children's interests and needs, and help to address any school development targets. With bigger budgets we have the capacity for bigger ideas.

We love to re-use and re-purpose equipment you already have and to help you to create an outdoor learning environment and ethos that is fun and accessible to the children yet manageable for staff to maintain.

I have extensive experience of teaching in the EYFS and KS1 and I have a Level 3 Forest School qualification. My colleague who supports me on outreach projects has a strong SEND and EYFS background.
Together we plan manageable outdoor spaces that excite and engage children, promote all the prime areas of learning and ensure more children reach a GLD.

Along with my classroom based experience, I have also trained with Early Excellence and SureStart. I have taught in two schools and two nurseries and survived 6 Ofsted inspections, of which 1 was good and 5 were Outstanding. In 2020 I set up my own outdoor learning site with a tiny budget and successfully created a thriving little business, which I still run. I understand the challenges teachers face everyday and I want to help create a space that is quick to set up and manage. I have advised lots of Shrewsbury schools on how to enhance and develop their outdoor areas, including: Coleham Primary School, Radbrook Primary School, Shrewsbury Cathedral Catholic Primary School, Bowbrook Primary School and Greenfields Primary School. Although I no longer teach in a classroom, and I spend some of my time supporting others, I still deliver weekly sessions to two nurseries, four parent and toddler groups and three primary school groups, which keeps my feet, firmly on the ground.​
