The Wild Things-Workshops run throughout the school holidays. We run family sessions and drop off sessions. Click the 'Book Online' button below to see what's available.
All workshops are held at:
The Hermitage Woodland Garden,
(Behind the Methodist Church)
Belle Vue Road,
The sessions are planned and led by a fully qualified teacher with Level 3 Forest School certification and supported by highly qualified teaching assistants. At our woodland sessions children get a chance to develop their wild senses. They learn how to look after themselves while playing outside and how to look after their friends and the wild world around them. The children are able to run free, make dens, swing on the tree swing, enjoy time around the campfire and make lots of delightful treats in the ‘Mud Kitchen’. Children get opportunities to help create ‘Dinosaur Worlds’ and ‘Fairy Glades’. They also learn how to use simple woodwork tools, create art and can make potions and perfumes, switching their imaginations onto full blast!
DBS certificates, Paediatric First Aid Certifictes, Insurance Certificates & policies are all available on request.
